Zooba is a mix between battle royale shooter and MOBA-shooter genre. On the one hand, at the top of the last-one-standing mode and shrinking danger zone, we're given a large map, a way to affect landing points, and various weapons lying around. At the same time, brawl-stars-like controls go with a strong focus on character and skill selection, affecting gameplay dramatically.
The most characteristic part of the game is the animal theme, fitting well with many available characters and gameplay styles. You can choose between nimble fox Nix, violent gorilla, or hungry panda. With neat 3d graphics & animation, additional skins & regularly new additions, these creatures play a significant role.
There is currently only 1 map - the ZOO - but it's a perfect example of a diverse Battle Royale area. Not only you'll see varied environments, like the land of snow, desert, and jungle, along with natural barriers. Some of the grounds will affect heavily the way you play, like slippery ice or water preventing you from shooting.
As the game is battle-royale focused, you won't see too many different modes to play, but instead, there's an option to team up with 1 or 3 other players.
The game is free and doesn't show forced ads, but there's a way to watch some videos for rewards or buy a premium battle pass. With a strong focus on upgrading characters and skills, there are multiple ways to spend some dollars speeding up your progress.
